# Functional batch — observed results

Executed 2026-09-08 with explicit user authorization: three calls, maximum
120 seconds each, EUR 2 total ceiling, no top-up, no repeat attempts.
All calls used the same controlled AI recipient. No third-party recipient was
contacted. Raw plans, tokens, identifiers and responses remain private.

| Case | Recipient | Runtime seconds | Provider billed/log seconds | CALL-E USD | Vapi displayed USD | Reviewed outcome |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Refusal | v4 | 24 | 24 | 0.05 | 0.03 | PASS: explicit refusal preserved |
| Uncertainty | v5 | 38 | 38 | 0.05 | 0.04 | PASS: unknown, neither declined nor confirmed |
| Identity sequence | v6 | 34 | 35 | 0.05 | 0.04 | PARTIAL: explicit identity response precedes appointment, questions interrupted |

Batch displayed cost: USD 0.26. Including the original baseline: four calls,
USD 0.33 displayed total. These are sums of provider-displayed amounts, not
future price guarantees. No reload, purchase, transfer or extra attempt made.
All three runs returned COMPLETED; that provider status is not synonymous with
complete instruction compliance. Each run has one recipient and no next action.

## Refusal

Recipient: "No. I declined the fictional appointment tomorrow at 10AM."
CALL-E summary records explicitly declined, no follow-up needed.

## Uncertainty

Recipient: "I am not sure yet. I cannot confirm this appointment."
CALL-E summary records unknown rather than confirmed or declined.

## Identity: retain the limitation

The caller initially attempted an identity question. The Vapi transcript
records incomplete received turns: "Assistant, am I—" and later
"Hi Alex. I'm an AI assistant. Am I speaking with—". The recipient replied
"Yes, I am playing Alex for this demonstration." before CALL-E asked about the
appointment. Explicit appointment confirmation followed.

The required response order is observed, but a complete identity question
received by the other side is not established. There is overlapping speech,
and CALL-E uses Alex's name before the identity response. Do not label this
case an unqualified pass. Audio has not been independently reviewed by the
agent. This exercise is not authentication of a real person's identity.

Both the recipient greeting/behavior and caller instruction changed from the
baseline; the result does not isolate the effect of the prompt clarification.

## Product boundary

These are controlled benign integration checks, manually assessed against
provider transcripts and outcomes. The shipped REDLINE live adversarial
adapter did not execute or automatically judge this batch. The official CALL-E
CLI performed planning, execution and status queries. No static scenario
catalogue result is converted into a real-call claim.

The original recipient greeting and prompt were restored and published as v7;
v3–v6 remain versioned. The two-minute recipient limit was retained.
